Discover and Protect Sensitive Data: Key Benefits of Data Masking

This unique Webcast features industry experts Dr. Joseph Feiman, Research Vice President and Gartner Fellow and Michael Mesaros, Director of Product Management at dataguise, who leverage their insight to educate organizations on implementing an effective strategy to protect sensitive data in non-production environments and meet a multitude of compliance requirements. Typically, organizations are not aware of where their sensitive data resides, resulting in an inability to mitigate the risk of unintended exposure of that data. In order to protect and secure data and decrease the risk of a serious breach, organizations must first determine where sensitive information resides then mask or de-identify information targeted for use outside of the production network. Viewers of the Webcast also learn what key criteria organizations must look for in a masking solution as well as best practices for its use.

Risk-based Data Protection in Government Systems: Protecting High Value HIPAA, PII, and Other Sensitive Data.

This on demand Webcast is hosted by the ImmixGroup and features Jim Flyzik from The Flyzik Group and Dataguise. Jim Flyzik has over twenty-seven years of service in the Federal government during which he was Senior Advisor to Governor Ridge in the White House Office of Homeland Security (OHS), Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Systems and CIO for the Department of the Treasury from August 1997 to April 2002. Not all data is created equally, implementing a risk-based data privacy approach for identifying, rating, and masking high value HIPAA, PII, and other custom sensitive data is critical. Production systems have data protection measures but "leakage" occurs when production data base copies are given out internally for test, QA, and also external contractor application development.
